ICON collects images in a variety of trials, particularly in the areas of oncology and cardiovascular trials. In their partnership with Roche, ICON hosts the database containing all of the images they collect for all of Roche's clinical trials. This allows Roche to view any of their images 24/7 via ICON's hosting cloud software - saving Roche the significant investment required for an imaging system and the time it would take to traditionally deliver images to the sponsor. ICON provides yet another example of how they are helping their partners deliver more drugs to market in a faster and more cost effective way.
