Editorial Guidelines
The following are editorial guidelines for Life Science Leader magazine:
Submitting an article to LSL
We do accept bylined articles in Life Science Leader, but we run only a limited amount each issue. You would first need to send Editorial Director

a brief abstract of the topic you are suggesting. We are a B2B magazine, so we do not accept overly technical topics or articles. The articles also cannot be promotional either directly or indirectly (e.g. leading the reader to only one conclusion which happens to be the solution your company offers). Ideally, we want an end user (i.e. pharma or bio manufacturer, not a CMO or CRO or vendor) to participate in any department-level article. We normally ask for 1,500 words for these (we do not run footnotes, references, etc.). The only exception to including an end user in an article is the Industry Leader article. These are written by a top executive (no PR, marketing, or biz dev titles are allowed) and discuss a common trend that impacts our audience. We get an abundance of these, and they run on a first-come-first-serve basis. With any bylined article, we will edit it to our style, and we do not allow prepublication proofing.
